The Baltimore Book. A Christmas and New Year's Present.
This gift book was published by Bayly & Burns in 1838 and consists of original works by Baltimore writers. There are six plates in the 296 pages. It was edited by T. S Arthur and W. H. Carpenter. Arthur also contributed several articles.

Two editions have been noted:

The 1838 book contains 296 pages with numerous short stories written by Arthur, Carpenter, Edgar Allan Poe and others.

This title was also published in 1839 and was edited by the same two authors. The contents are the same as those of the 1838 edition.
