Temperance gift books edited by Arthur in the 1850's

Three different gift books which Arthur edited in the 1850’s were each reprinted a number of times. With identical or almost identical content, the titles were changed over and over. In some instances the same publisher changed the title and sold the book again. These books with the variances are described below. Most likely there are other editions that I am currently not know. They will be added as I get more information.

The Sons of Temperance Offering, for 1850 was published by Nafis & Cornish. The subsequent reprint history of this volume can be confusing. In this book the first story is “The Fountain” and the last is “Poetry of Mr. Haynes Bayly”. There are ten illustrations and 320 pages. The Nafis & Cornish edition has no title page date. Copyright by Nafis & Cornish in 1849.

Other gift books that have the identical contents are:
The Crystal Fount, for 1851 Cornish, Lamport & Co. / Copyright 1850 320 pages
The Crystal Fount: for 1851 Cornish, Lamport & Co./ Copyright 1850 320 pages
The Sons of Temperance Offering, for all Seasons, Cornish, Lamport & Co.// Copyright Cornish, Lamport & Co. (No dates) 320 pages

The Sons of Temperance Offering, for 1851 was published by Cornish. Lamport & Co. with an undated title page but a copyright of 1850 by Nafis and Cornish. I have not found the contents of this book in a Nafis and Cornish publication as of yet. The first story of this title is "The Car of Intemperance" while the last is "King Gin". There are ten illustrations and 320 pages.
