Optimus Printing Company, New York

Not much is known about this company. Its president was Ruben Freeman. Optimus published books in a number of series in wraps and cloth including the Arcadian Series, Rosebud Edition, Souvenir Edition, Paragon Edition of Modern Books, the Happy Thought Library, Handy Classic Series, and the Golden Gem Library. It appears to have been most active in the 1890's.

This publisher released a copy of Ten Nights in a Bar-Room in the summer of 1896. It cost 25 cents. It is part of the Arcadian Series.
