George Munro's Sons, New York
The George Munro's Sons publishing house was run by George
Munro's two sons (George W. and John) after Munro retired from the
publishing business in 1893. At that time the firm changed its
name from George Munro. The sons carried on most of the previous
series of cheap publications of reprints and dime novels.
Several hundred reprinted works were included in the Munro's
Library of Popular Novels published between 1894 and 1899.
Ten Nights in a Bar-Room was #252.
This firm published the Seaside Library. In that series
there are thirteen of Arthur’s books. It was published between
1877 and 1905 by this firm and by its predecessor, George Munro.
This Arthur book was published November 19, 1890.
